Fall/WInter is one of my favourite seasons. This is the time to maximize your look with classic layers and pops of  accessories. Cue Scotch & Soda’s kid’s for Autumn Winter ’12. If you’ve seen my previous post, you’d know that I am a huge fan of their kid’s collection, Scotch R’Belle and Scotch Shrunk.

This season, boys and girls, channel the city of love in these ‘couldn’t-care-less’ Parisian Chic looks complimented with cozy Cabin Fever pieces of earthy tones combined with indigos and bright sun-bleached colours. Let’s shop wednesday: Wildfox

 

 

Wildfox‘s cool, effortless, let loose and live approach in fashion has established a following from trendsetters and celebrities worldwide since it’s launch in 2007. This American vintage-inspired women’s brand is for dreamers, lovers, free spirits and the wild child within. With continued growth, they launched Wildfox Kids in 2009. Taking the success from the women’s graphic tees, sweatshirts, sweatpants and leggings in their trademark super-soft fabrics and unique styles, the kid’s collection for ages 4-14, was born. The collection celebrates the magic of being a kid.

To kick off  Wildfox Kid’s Fall 2012 campaign, they could not have picked a better model than Violet Hume. Look and sound familiar? That’s cause she is the mini replica of her super model mom Kirsty Hume. No doubt, Violet, is a natural born model from head to toe.

Let’s shop Wednesday’s- Very French, very gangster

 

 

Summer is here, you want to rejoice and soak in the sun. Before you get your shine on, it is uber important to protect your kids eyes.

According to Mark Borchert, a pediatric ophthalmologist, “if it is bright enough outdoors for you to be wearing sunglasses, your child should also be wearing them.” In fact, it is actually more important for your children to be wearing sunglasses than adults, because 70% more UV rays reach the retinal than in an adult. And damage to the retina at a young age increases the risk of developing cataracts or macular degeneration as adults. So look for shades that have both 100% UVA and UVB protection.

With that said…I found some of the coolest shades that will meet both function and style. Three words: Very French Gangster

Catering to little gangsters from ages 3-10 years old, their collection also includes prescription glasses. I have always been a huge sucker for tiny kids in specs, so I am looking forward to seeing this contemporary style of eyewear surface.

Besides, the sleek, unique and awesome designs, their excellent add campaign to promote their collection of eyewear has really drawn attention. I mean mugshots! Did these kids get pull over for a DUI… ( Dang, U‘re Irresistible )!!
